Our congregation loves music, and music is an exciting part of our worship services! We have several very gifted musicians — including our pianist (Barbara Ward) and organist (Ginny Bryson). Each week they minister to our congregation through their beautiful music. The prelude music helps us to begin focusing our attention on God.

There are also several vocalists who enjoy sharing a song during worship, as well as some who occasionally share instrumental music played on the flute, guitar, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, or hammered dulcimer.

We mostly sing traditional hymns during our worship time together, although we enjoy singing and incorporating some more contemporary choruses as well. We have a very active music committee that works to select congregational music that complements the scripture reading and sermons each week.

At Christmas, we have a choir that prepares music for our community Christmas Eve service. The choir also meets at other limited times throughout the year for special worship services, such as our annual Gospel Sing.
